I found a direct tv deal
when I moved into my new place but my mom, being as nosy as she is,
insisted on going over it before I was “allowed” to sign anything. Let
me be clear, I’m almost 30 years old but my mom thinks it’s her place to
still tell me what to do and make all my decisions for me. Clearly,
it’s not. I just don’t know how to tell her that I want to do my own
research and make my own decisions even if that does mean I make some
mistakes along the way. I mean, we’re not talking about life or death
stuff here, just some household utilities
and painting and stuff like that. I think she’s extra cautious now
since I don’t live at home anymore but I love having the freedom and
responsibility of my own place. I can’t believe it took me this long to
look for something new but I sure am glad I did just to gain some
independence!
